Delfts Bleau

Monday 16 May, Whit Monday, Delfts Bleau is open from 10h until 19h (incl. bar).
The walk-in fysio consult starts at 16.30u, until 17.30h.

We’re closed on Koningsdag (We 27 April), as well as on Ascension Day/Bevrijdingsdag (Th 5 May).

Saturday 30 April we’ll close at 17h instead of at 18h due to our teamtrip to the Dutch National Championships Boulder in the Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam.

The first db9 of 2016 is scheduled for Friday 8 April. Besides the 14 special competition boulders we’ll have DJ I.VO.D to make it a special party. More information can be found on the db9 pagina.

As with every db9 it sure is possible to come over and watch the competition and enjoy the atmosphere. You can also climb without joining the competition. We’ll start around 19h and wrap up around 22.30h. If there’s a crowd we end the competition a little later, but no later than 23h. The bar closes at midnight.

We’ll set with purple, we’ll serve Brugse Zot (special blond beer) and Straffe Hendrik (special triple beer) and afterwards there’ll be free popcorn to go with that beer. See you on the 8th!

Monday 28 March, Easter Monday, we open our doors at noon. Just the perfect excuse for avoiding a visit to the residential boulevard and a good opportunity to burn the fat of that Easter Brunch. So, we’re open from 12h until 22.30h (bar open until 23.30h).

Het programma voor het feestweekend is bekend, zoals aangekondigd met gratis workshops, acties en kortingen:

Feestdag 1, zaterdag 19 september:

• demo’s Bleau Biceps training door Jelle Schouten. Niet alleen kijken, maar ook meedoen! Om 12:30 en om 14:00 start er een demo. Schrijf je in aan de bar. 
• koop je vandaag een strippenkaart? dan knippen we je bouldersessie van vandaag niet af en boulder je dus gratis!
• koop je vandaag schoenen? dan krijg je een gratis zak pof of pofballen van ons kado
• je volgt natuurlijk Fontaineblove al op FaceBook en dus heb je de t-shirts wel een keer voorbij zien kopen. We hebben de hand weten te leggen op een aantal van deze t-shirts, in diverse kleuren, zowel dames -als herenmodellen. Op = op. Slechts €17,50 per shirt.
• we verwennen je met een gratis lekker minicakeje bij de koffie of thee
• en voor de kids: 2 ijsjes halen, 1 betalen (het goedkoopste ijsje is gratis)

Feestdag 2, zondag 20 september:

• 10-12 uur happy hour! Alle vroege vogels worden verwelkomd met een heerlijke kop koffie of thee, gratis en voor niks, met een lekker minicakeje. Gewoon, omdat t feest is!
• ben je later dan 12u binnen? dan trakteren we je nog steeds op dat lekkere minicakeje bij je drankje, zolang de voorraad strekt uiteraard.
• er zijn slackline demo’s om 12.30u en om 13.30u waaraan max. 6 personen mee kunnen doen. Niet alleen kijken, maar leren hoe je je staande houdt op dat wiebelende ding. Gratis uiteraard.
• Mathieu Ceron (Medicort) geeft om 15u een gratis workshop “fingerboard training” waaraan max. 15 mensen kunnen deelnemen.

• vandaag is ook de open dag van de oude kabelfabriek, door het hele gebouw heen zijn er allerlei activiteiten, spelen er bandjes en zijn er verschillende workshops. Meer informatie

Op dinsdag 22 september (onze echte verjaardag) is er een speciale editie van Klimmen met DJ’s. De afgelopen 3 jaar hebben verschillende DJ’s als gast DJ gedraaid, tijdens deze speciale editie zullen er een aantal hiervan draaien.

Friday 4 September is the next edition of the db9! 14 nice competitionboulders, DJ Dubsta, a special specialbeer (La Trappe), free popcorn after the competition and an evening of fun. More information and signup

In September we start with a couple of courses. There is a maximum of 8 participants for all courses, so be quick in signing up.

• Bleau Technique: Monday 14 September the technique course starts for climbers level green and up
• Saturday 12 September the power training starts for climbers with level blue and up, Bleau Biceps.
• Saturday 12 September the slackline lessons for beginners starts.

As per 1 September we open both earlier and close later on Sunday’s as often requested. Sundays we open at 10.00 and close at 19.00h. We also introduce lunchbouldering on Thursdays as a pilot, until the end of this year. You’re welcome between 11.00 and 14.00h and on request TREK (Ineke) will make you a lunch to go. After your lunch boulder session you’ll be picking up your work or study with a refreshed mind.

We’ve adjusted the discount for TU Delft sportscard holders, the discount is now the same (€ 0,50) for everybody independent of age. The discount always has been € 0,50 for customers between  18 en de 25, but now also for customers younger than 18 and older than 25.

Our 3rd anniversary is upcoming! There will be all sorts of activities and discounts, both in the weekend before (19 and 20 September) as on Tuesday the 22nd. The complete program will be published soon.

If you have cycled, walked or skateboarded from Delft city center towards Delfts Bleau recently you must have noticed the road works on the Schieweg. As it turns out to be an unexpected complex situation a full closure of the road is required in order to get the issues solved. The road will be closed on week days as of Wednesday 29 July up and until Friday 14 August. The road will be open during the weekends.

Please follow the yellow signs leading you to the detour. Cyclists are led to the Rotterdamseweg via the Abtswoudsebrug (drawed red line) and cars have several alternatives such as Papsouwselaan and Voorhofdreef.

The db9 of Friday 3 July will be remembered as the warmest db9 in history! Tropic temperatures, but luckily also with good music, this time by DJs I-vo-D and dub754. Of course there were 14 great boulders set from 5 to 7b, but this time with a little more boulders in the lower range to compensate for the weather. The results can be found on the db9 results page as always. The next db9 is already planned, so make a note in your agenda: Friday 4 September. Thursday 30 and Friday 31 July we’re closed for maintenance. No real big stuff, but mainly repainting the dressing rooms which needs some time to dry. Saturday 1 August we’re back in business, fresh and bright.

The Lotto NK Boulder 2015 was a big succes, not only we had a full house, with all tickets sold, but there were also a couple of thousand people watching the finals live though the livestream of the finals! Both Nikki van Bergen and Jorg Verhoeven lived up to their role as favorites, but they really had to work for it.
