Since the opening 2 months ago the DIY’ing has been somewhat receded to the background. However, we made some small improvements, like benches and hooklets in the changing rooms, but also some major ones. After months of negotiating with the gas companies we\u00a0finally got gas a month ago. The\u00a0floor heating is now fully operational and you can now walk around with bare feet\u00a0comfortably.\u00a0And there are\u00a0nice hot showers now!<\/p>\n
There’s a beautiful, one-of-a-kind,\u00a0Stamtisch made by Frank.\u00a0The towel racks in the showers are placed today as well.<\/p>\n
We have 2 new circuits: the green Axis-circuit (5- – 6a) and the purple Squadra-circuit (7b-8a+). The Squadra holds are selected by Nicky de Leeuw and have been donated to us by his parents, a very special gesture!<\/p>\n
Today we removed and cleaned\u00a0the red circuit (thanks Robert and Tim!)\u00a0and tomorrow, Friday 30 November,\u00a0a new red circuit will be\u00a0set under supervision of\u00a0our head route setters Michiel and Remmelt. You’re welcome to test this new circuit on\u00a0Friday evening with live DJ’s\u00a0I.VO.D en JFM, that is…\u00a0unless you’re\u00a0participating in\u00a0Saturday’s K3-contest as the contest routes will be set that day as well.<\/p>\n
The\u00a0K3-contest is organised by\u00a0Yeti for her members and starts Saturday at 15.00h with finals at 19.00h\u00a0The Bouldercenter closes as always at 18.00h for the regular visitors. Participants are not allowed to enter the Bouldercenter on Friday and are welcome as of 14.30h on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Furthermore we have plans for some events. Friday night 7 December we’ll organise an introduction training boulderen, the youth group of Klimmuur Den Haag will most like train with us again on Saturday morning 15 December and Jonas of Slacktivity will organise a slackline workshop on Monday evening 17 December. We’ll provide you a.s.a.p with the details!<\/p>\n
And then it’s already\u00a0Christmas time! Sunday 23 December we close the doors at 17.00h for a brief Chrismas break. Thursday 27 December we’re open again. We’ll be\u00a0putting a personnel add up any day now and if we manage to find the right candidates in time, we plan to be open earlier in the afternoon in the week before Christmas.<\/p>\n
